Director of Navy Programs

About the role

The Director of Navy Programs will lead HavocAI’s effort to identify, capture, and execute strategic U.S. Navy and maritime‑defense opportunities. Reporting to senior leadership, this senior business‑development role shapes the company’s go‑to‑market strategy for autonomous maritime operations and drives revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, shape and capture Navy and maritime‑defense opportunities aligned with HavocAI’s strategic priorities.
• Develop and execute account and capture strategies across Navy customers, program offices, operational commands and related defense organizations.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with Navy stakeholders, primes, shipbuilders, defense partners and industry leaders.
• Lead opportunity‑shaping activities including customer engagement, teaming strategy, competitive positioning, requirements influence and win‑strategy development.
• Partner with Growth, Product, Engineering, Mission Operations and executive teams to align customer needs with HavocAI’s technical capabilities.
• Support proposal development, pricing strategy, customer messaging and overall pursuit execution.
• Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting, opportunity tracking and CRM records.
• Represent HavocAI at industry events, exercises, demonstrations and partner engagements.

Required profile

• Deep understanding of U.S. Navy acquisition processes, operational priorities and maritime mission needs.
• Proven track record in business development, capture management and program execution within the defense sector.
• Experience working with senior military and industry stakeholders and influencing requirements.
• Ability to translate customer feedback into product, engineering and program priorities.
• Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills with growth, product, engineering and mission‑operations teams.
