Director of Marketing & Communications

About the role

CAMBA is seeking a senior leader to shape and execute its brand, messaging, and communications strategy across all channels. Reporting to the SVP of Development & Communications, the Director will drive donor and community outreach, media relations, and internal communications while managing a small team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy aligned with organizational priorities.
• Create donor marketing collateral, annual communication plans, and content for newsletters, annual reports, and special events.
• Ensure consistent brand identity, voice, and messaging across print and digital platforms.
• Oversee digital advertising initiatives, Google Analytics tracking, and multimedia content production.
• Write and edit stories, features, and program materials for internal and external audiences.
• Manage the Social Media & Website Manager and coordinate with external designers as needed.
• Serve as the primary media contact, handle press inquiries, and manage onsite media at events.
• Represent CAMBA at agency and community meetings.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in marketing and communications, preferably within the nonprofit sector.
• Strong leadership and collaborative skills to work with program and development teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage brand consistency and storytelling across multiple channels.
