Director of Manufacturing Operations

About the role

Roku is seeking a Director of Manufacturing Operations to lead the Players and Remotes product lines. Reporting to the Head of Manufacturing Operations, you will own complex product initiatives from new‑product introduction through sustaining, driving operational excellence across development and supply‑chain metrics.

Key responsibilities

• Lead program planning and supplier execution for Roku’s Players and Remote product lines.
• Integrate Program Management, Technical Operations, and Quality into a single operating model.
• Provide executive reporting on readiness, risks, and trade‑offs.
• Build repeatable processes that improve launch speed and product quality.
• Collaborate with ODMs and suppliers on production readiness, line bring‑up, and ramp‑to‑volume.
• Drive capacity planning and risk assessments to support stable volume production.
• Manage supplier escalations related to production, yield, reliability, and quality.
• Spend significant time onsite in Asia to build trust and resolve issues.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in manufacturing operations, supplier management, and cost optimization.
• Proven leadership of senior program managers in a high‑growth technology environment.
• Strong strategic vision combined with hands‑on execution capability.
• Ability to influence cross‑functional teams and build credibility on the factory floor.

What we offer

• Base salary range $285,000 – $305,000 per year (California only).
