Director of Indirect Procurement – Americas

About the role

Gucci is seeking a seasoned Director of Indirect Procurement for the Americas region. Reporting to the global indirect procurement leadership team, you will act as the primary strategic partner for all non‑direct spend categories, ensuring cost‑efficient, high‑quality, and innovative sourcing aligned with global objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the Americas indirect procurement strategy in line with global category plans.
• Lead end‑to‑end procurement projects across store construction, facilities, events, communications, travel, professional services and more.
• Identify, onboard and manage high‑performing suppliers, establishing KPIs, governance and risk monitoring.
• Partner with finance to enforce budget discipline, track savings and measure total cost of ownership.
• Develop and report procurement performance metrics, contributing to the Brand Balanced Scorecard and senior leadership reporting.
• Lead, develop and coordinate the regional indirect procurement team and community.

Required profile

• University degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in indirect procurement, including project leadership, tender management and cost‑savings initiatives.
• Proven experience managing complex, multi‑category spend in a global or multinational environment.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
