Director of Finance

About the role

Barti, a venture‑backed AI‑driven eye‑care startup, is seeking its first finance leader to guide the company through rapid SaaS growth. Reporting to the COO, the Director of Finance will build the financial infrastructure, partner with senior leaders, and enable data‑driven decision‑making across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Own company‑wide financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes, including annual headcount and revenue modeling.
• Develop and maintain financial models that support hiring, go‑to‑market investments, pricing, and long‑term growth scenarios.
• Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, and Operations to evaluate investment trade‑offs and strategic initiatives.
• Improve visibility into business performance through regular reporting, variance analysis, and monthly business reviews.
• Oversee payroll, accounts payable/receivable, collections, and expense management, ensuring robust controls and compliance.
• Manage relationships with external accounting and finance vendors.
• Support equity grant modeling and compensation planning processes.

Required skills
