Director of Finance

About the role

Frida is looking for a Director of Finance to lead forecasting, planning, reporting, and analysis across the company. The role will partner with multiple departments to shape strategy, drive sustainable growth, and support a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own the annual budgeting process and quarterly reforecasting cycles, coordinating submissions across all functions.
• Maintain and continuously improve forecasting models, integrating top‑down and bottom‑up inputs.
• Lead monthly budget‑vs‑actual reviews with department heads to ensure effective expense management.
• Assist in developing long‑term financial plans, including revenue, margin, and cash‑flow projections.
• Deliver monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages to senior leadership and the board, providing variance analysis and commentary.
• Develop and track KPIs across P&L, working capital, and operational metrics.
• Identify risks and opportunities versus plan and surface actionable insights.
• Support gross margin management, including COGS analysis and cost bridge reporting.

Required profile

• Seasoned finance leader with strong financial acumen.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Proactive, can‑do attitude with ability to influence across functions.
• Experience in a dynamic, high‑growth environment.
