Director of Finance and Accounting

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Director of Finance and Accounting to lead our financial reporting, budgeting, and strategic initiatives. This senior position works closely with the C‑suite to drive financial performance and support growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.
• Hire, manage, and develop the financial accounting team.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of all financial statements and internal reports.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to support operational and strategic activities.
• Set company goals, develop and model the operating budget.
• Monitor performance against the budget and established KPIs.
• Partner with the CFO on acquisition and fundraising projects.
• Coordinate with tax advisors to guarantee timely and accurate filings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting plus CPA or MBA.
• Minimum 10 + years of progressive finance and accounting experience.
• Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Deep understanding of sound accounting practices.
• Experience in the service industry is a plus.
