Director of Enterprise Communications

About the role

The Director, Enterprise Communications leads Great Minds’ internal communications and employer brand strategy. Reporting to the Vice President of Corporate Communications, this senior leader ensures employees are informed, connected to the mission, and that the company’s story reaches external audiences to support recruiting, retention, and sales.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the enterprise communications vision, aligning it with organizational priorities and the 2030 student outcomes commitment.
• Lead the internal communications function, managing editorial calendars, governance, channel strategy, and content standards.
• Partner across HR, Strategy, Product, Sales, and Marketing to source stories, convey operating values, and ensure consistent messaging.
• Develop and operate an employee storytelling engine that highlights student and educator impact.
• Implement measurement frameworks (KPIs, engagement data) to continuously improve communication effectiveness.
• Guide the evolution of internal communication platforms in collaboration with IT, overseeing intranet, email, video, and collaboration tools.

Required profile

• Senior leader with extensive experience in internal communications, employer branding, or related fields.
• Proven ability to act as a strategic advisor to executive leadership and translate organizational priorities into clear communication plans.
• Strong partnership skills to work with cross‑functional teams such as HR, Product, Sales, and Legal.
