Director of CPG Shopper Marketing

About the role

7 Brew is seeking a seasoned leader to design and execute its shopper marketing and commercial activation strategy. Reporting to senior leadership, the Director will build a modern, shopper‑centric system that drives traffic, conversion, and loyalty across a rapidly expanding retail footprint.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a 3–5 year shopper marketing vision and roadmap, translating brand strategy into retailer‑specific activations.
• Define KPIs, measurement frameworks, and investment priorities to maximize ROI.
• Manage and brief contracted media buying, strategy, and creative agencies, turning strategy into day‑to‑day campaign briefs.
• Design and execute in‑store and out‑of‑store programs, including displays, POS, merchandising tools, sampling, seasonal promotions, and trade‑spend efficiency.
• Partner with Sales on trade spend, promotional ROI, new‑door expansion, and account‑specific activation.
• Integrate in‑store, digital, and out‑of‑store brand experiences, owning retail media strategy on Walmart Connect and expanding to additional retailer networks.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading shopper marketing or CPG trade marketing programs.
• Strong track record of building and scaling end‑to‑end activation systems.
• Ability to collaborate across Sales, Brand Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and other cross‑functional teams.
• Experience managing external agency partners and driving measurable retail performance.
