Director of Communications – Legal AI & Technology

About the role

We are looking for a senior communications leader to shape the global narrative around AI, innovation and the future of the legal profession. The Director of Communications will drive corporate, AI and technology storytelling for LexisNexis Legal & Professional, a business within RELX.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute corporate communications strategies that reinforce LexisNexis’s position as a leader in legal AI.
• Advise senior executives on messaging, reputational risks and opportunities.
• Draft press releases, corporate announcements and employee communications under tight deadlines.
• Identify and secure media coverage, thought‑leadership placements and speaking opportunities.
• Collaborate with product, technology, marketing and global PR teams to ensure consistent messaging.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate research, content creation and review processes.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in global corporate communications, preferably within technology or professional services.
• Proven ability to translate complex technology concepts into clear, compelling narratives.
• Strong judgment, independent work style and a results‑driven mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
