Director of Clinical Operations

About the role

The Director of Clinical Operations for Image Guided Therapy Devices leads day‑to‑day clinical program execution, ensuring studies meet timelines, budgets and regulatory standards while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute clinical trials across coronary, peripheral and cardiac solutions, covering feasibility, pivotal, pre‑market, post‑market and real‑world evidence studies.
• Oversee study start‑up, site activation, monitoring, data collection, adverse event handling and study close‑out, ensuring inspection readiness.
• Manage vendor relationships, CRO performance, budgets and contracts, and establish governance rhythms for study teams.
• Build and lead a high‑performing Clinical Operations team, providing clear reporting to senior leadership and regulatory authorities.

Required profile

• 10+ years of clinical research or operations experience in medical devices, with 5+ years leading teams.
• Proven track record delivering complex studies on time, within budget and in compliance with global regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or related field; advanced degree preferred.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of ICH GCP, ISO 14155 and FDA medical device regulations.
• Experience with clinical trial lifecycle management, including site feasibility, enrollment, monitoring and risk mitigation.
