Director of Business Development

About the role

Bridger Photonics is seeking a Director of Business Development to drive growth of its Gas Mapping LiDAR™ technology. Reporting to the Director of Offshore International Business Development, the role works closely with Operations and Accounts teams to shape marketing, sales, regulatory and certification strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Leverage problem‑solving, research, data processing, analysis, writing, editing and presentation skills to guide company decisions in marketing, sales, regulations and new‑business development.
• Become familiar with Bridger’s technology and market drivers to create accurate presentations, marketing material, client relationships, customer journeys and bids/proposals.
• Coordinate, assemble and analyse sales and marketing data to assess performance and develop forecasts.
• Research, write and oversee proposals and bids for new business, including cost estimation and pricing.
• Monitor industry activity, regulatory policy and certifications to inform strategy and support the methane regulatory landscape.
• Represent Bridger at trade shows and perform market‑research activities.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in new‑business development and lead generation with a track record of converting strategic opportunities.
• Strong business‑planning capabilities, including market analysis, forecasting and building scalable go‑to‑market strategies.
• Experience negotiating complex contracts and managing long sales cycles with enterprise or industrial customers.
• Account‑management skills to nurture key relationships and drive expansion within existing accounts.
• Background in energy, oil & gas, industrial technology or emissions‑related sectors is highly beneficial.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities for both technical and executive audiences.
