Director, Industry Advisor – Oil & Gas

About the role

Salesforce is seeking a senior leader to shape and drive its Oil & Gas advisory practice. As Director, Industry Advisor you will partner with customers and internal teams to build thought leadership, guide strategic initiatives, and champion Salesforce solutions across the energy sector.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and articulate a compelling point‑of‑view for the oil & gas industry.
• Support and influence Salesforce’s growth strategy within upstream, midstream, downstream, oilfield services and retail fuels.
• Monitor industry trends and translate insights into actionable opportunities for customers.
• Engage C‑level executives, ensuring their voice shapes product and service offerings.
• Collaborate with field leadership on strategic customer engagements, events, and localized initiatives.
• Represent Salesforce as a trusted advisor and thought leader at industry conferences and forums.

Required profile

• Extensive experience across multiple oil & gas domains (upstream, midstream, downstream, oilfield services, retail fuels).
• Proven track record of leading technology‑driven digital transformation, including AI initiatives.
• Deep understanding of how industry trends impact customers and business outcomes.
• Familiarity with Salesforce solutions and their application in the energy sector.
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills for executive audiences.
