About the role
Candide Group manages 100% impact portfolios for families, foundations and other clients, with a US emphasis and a strong record of investing in BIPOC, women and gender-expansive leaders. In 2024 it organized its work into four verticals, including Inclusive Entrepreneurship, which uses capital to expand opportunity, strengthen local businesses, build generational wealth and support entrepreneurs historically excluded from traditional financing. - Fund and vehicle development: help design and structure an Inclusive Entrepreneurship fund or vehicle, and if launched, oversee fundraising, investor engagement and capital deployment.
- Thought leadership: track market and policy issues, write quarterly commentaries and impact reports, and represent Candide at conferences and client events.
- Portfolio monitoring: support monitoring of 15-20 active legacy funds, tracking risks, impact and financial performance and reporting timely.
- Travel of about 15% is required; onsite meetings in Oakland, California are needed from time to time, and the Bay Area is preferred.
