Director, FP&A and AI Finance

About the role

The Director, FP&A and AI Finance will own Coursedog’s financial engine while leading the transformation of Finance through AI‑enabled workflows and automation. Reporting to the CFO, you will partner with executive leadership, Accounting, GTM and business teams to drive budgeting, forecasting, reporting and strategic planning in a fast‑moving B2B SaaS environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting and financial planning process across all functions.
• Own monthly forecasting, performance tracking and variance analysis.
• Develop executive and board‑level reporting that communicates performance and outlook.
• Manage GTM commission planning, tracking and reporting.
• Partner with Accounting on procurement, vendor budgeting and expense workflows.
• Drive AI‑driven transformation initiatives, including automated workflows and always‑on reporting.
• Prototype, evaluate and deploy AI solutions that reduce manual effort and accelerate decision‑making.
• Continuously improve FP&A systems, processes and reporting frameworks.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading FP&A in a high‑growth B2B SaaS company.
• Strong strategic thinking combined with hands‑on execution ability.
• Comfortable working in ambiguity, taking ownership and delivering results remotely.
• Track record of building scalable financial systems and partnering with cross‑functional leaders.

• Competitive base salary $185,000‑$200,000.
• Performance‑based variable compensation bringing OTE to $220,000‑$240,000.
