Director, Executive Development

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Director of Executive Development to lead the enterprise approach for developing nearly 1,000 Senior Vice Presidents and Executive Vice Presidents worldwide. The role will shape strategy, oversee onboarding, milestone experiences, coaching, and team effectiveness solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Set and evolve the executive development strategy aligned with business priorities and the Mastercard Way.
• Own the end‑to‑end portfolio covering onboarding, milestone experiences, skill building, coaching, assessments, and team effectiveness.
• Lead flagship programs such as Voyager, executive celebrations, and ongoing learning experiences.
• Partner with senior leaders, People Business Partners, Talent Consultants, and external experts to deliver a cohesive development journey.
• Manage external partners, program governance, budgets, communications, and delivery standards across a global portfolio.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing high‑impact onboarding and development strategies for senior executives in a complex global organization.
• Strong strategic thinking, project management, and global program delivery skills.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and advise senior leaders across a matrixed organization.
• Experience managing external vendors, contracts, and complex budgets with measurable outcomes.
