Director, Executive Communications & Global Engagement

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Director of Executive Communications & Global Engagement to lead high‑impact executive communication initiatives and support the operational priorities of Global Communications. The role will coordinate CEO and ELT engagements, drive integrated planning for global forums, and help build a connected team culture across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the EVP of Global Communications, the Executive Communications team, and the Office of the CEO to ensure high‑quality, consistent, and strategically impactful CEO communications.
• Serve as the central coordination point between the Office of the CEO, Communications Leadership, enterprise stakeholders and external partners.
• Manage the CEO calendar, weekly tracker and engagement prioritisation, evaluating communications opportunities aligned with CEO priorities.
• Lead planning and end‑to‑end execution of key CEO and ELT engagements, including enterprise events, leadership forums, and priority global convenings such as the World Economic Forum and World Government Summit.
• Collaborate with the CEO Speechwriter and Social Media Lead to produce briefs and content.
• Facilitate weekly Executive Communications team calls and bi‑weekly Office of the CEO syncs, delivering summaries of upcoming deliverables.
• Support Global Communications strategy by aligning initiatives with business objectives, overseeing the global editorial calendar, communications channels and weekly huddles.

Required profile

• Proven ability to partner closely with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.
• Experience managing executive calendars and coordinating high‑visibility engagements.
• Strong organisational skills to drive integrated planning for global forums.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for briefing senior executives.
