Director, Corporate FP&A

About the role

Commonwealth Fusion Systems is seeking a strategic Director of Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to lead enterprise‑wide financial planning, risk governance, and decision support. This senior position partners directly with Executive Leadership and the Board to translate complex financial data into actionable insights that drive capital allocation and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the corporate planning calendar, including budgets, forecasts, and long‑range plans, and enforce governance standards.
• Maintain the enterprise financial risk register, tracking key risks and mitigation actions.
• Prepare and present Executive Committee and Board reporting packages with clear narratives and recommendations.
• Own enterprise cash forecasting, providing visibility into liquidity, working capital, and cash flow.
• Support capital allocation decisions through financial modeling, scenario analysis, and target setting.
• Lead a shared pool of financial analysts, ensuring consistent quality and coverage across the organization.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Investor Relations, Finance Systems, and IT to align financial narratives and systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience in corporate FP&A at a senior level, preferably in high‑growth or technology‑focused companies.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize large data sets into concise insights.
• Excellent communication skills for senior stakeholder engagement.
• Demonstrated leadership of finance teams and cross‑functional partnership.
