About the role
The Director, Controller – Services reports to the VP, Controller – Services & Integrated Marketing and Communications and is responsible for ensuring the integrity of the financial statements for the Services business, partnering with global finance teams, treasury, regional controllership, and the Global Business Shared Service Organization. This role leads the finance function for Services, driving process optimization, internal controls, and compliance across the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with Services and IMC finance partners to advise on accounting matters, including revenue recognition, expense recognition, software capitalization, and impairment reviews.
- Assess accounting implications of operating models, agency vs. principal considerations, and ASC 606 revenue recognition.
- Liaise with Regional Controllers on global initiatives to ensure consistency and accuracy across regions.
- Interface with external auditors on application of GAAP to digital payments transactions.
- Manage compliance activities such as SOX, internal audit, and operational risk management, communicating exposures to leadership.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad‑hoc management reporting, variance analysis, technical memos, and executive presentations.
- Identify and implement automated solutions to streamline processes and strengthen front‑end and back‑end controls.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) designation.
- Proven experience as a trusted advisor on complex technical accounting matters.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities with solid financial and business acumen.
- Experience assessing financial controls, ensuring compliance, and leading process‑improvement initiatives.

What we offer
- Competitive base salary with a range of $163,000‑$269,000 USD and eligibility for annual bonus or commissions.
