Director, Commerce Media Sales – Publisher Solutions (North America)

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a quota‑carrying Director to lead the growth of its Commerce Media platform across North America. The role focuses on building strategic relationships with publisher partners and shaping the market for Mastercard Commerce Media solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Own and achieve individual revenue and pipeline targets for Mastercard Commerce Media.
• Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities with publishers and ecosystem partners.
• Develop account strategies and commercial plans to drive supply‑side growth.
• Maintain a robust pipeline and manage complex enterprise sales cycles.
• Establish trusted advisor relationships with senior client stakeholders.
• Develop relationships with publishers and media partners across travel, streaming, adtech, digital platforms, and retail media networks.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commerce media, retail media, digital advertising, adtech, or data‑driven marketing solutions.
• Strong network across publishers, advertisers, agencies, and ecosystem partners.
• Hands‑on seller capable of originating, developing, and closing strategic opportunities.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with Product, Customer Success, Marketing, and Commercial teams.
• Potential to evolve into team leadership or global responsibilities as the business scales.
