Direct Careworker – Home Health Aide

About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Direct Careworker to support a male client in Reedsville, Monday to Friday from 2 pm to 7 pm. You will provide personal care, household assistance, and companionship, following a written care plan created by a registered nurse.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
• Provide household support including light housekeeping, laundry, and bed making.
• Prepare meals, feed the client, and offer medication reminders.
• Support range‑of‑motion exercises, ambulation, and safe transfers using mechanical lifting devices.

Required profile

• Passion for caregiving and a desire to help others.
• Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect for clients.
• Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned.
• Commitment to delivering quality, compassionate care.

Required skills

• Basic personal care techniques.
