Developer Relations Engineer

About the role

Runpod is looking for a Developer Relations Engineer to build tools, demos, and content that help developers succeed on its AI cloud platform. You will work closely with the community, product, and engineering teams to shape the developer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Build tooling, extensions, and plugins that improve the developer experience and measure their impact.
• Deliver talks at developer and AI conferences and nurture relationships with organizers and attendees.
• Identify pain points while using the platform, surface bugs, and ship fixes autonomously.
• Design and run scalable programs for content, events, and community engagement.
• Maintain a strong community presence to generate inbound interest and inform product direction.

Required profile

• Experience writing code in Python, JavaScript, or Go and working as a software engineer.
• Proven ability to create technical demos, documentation, tutorials, or sample applications for developers.
• Track record of building integrations or contributing to open‑source projects in ML/AI ecosystems.
• Comfortable working with high autonomy, identifying gaps, and shipping solutions without waiting for direction.
• Willingness to attend events and conferences in person and speak publicly on behalf of the product.
