About the role
IDR is looking for a Developer 1 to join a top client in Atlanta on a hybrid basis. You will support a legacy government tax application, perform routine maintenance, and deliver small‑scale enhancements while working in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform configuration updates and routine maintenance tasks.
- Develop and implement minor enhancements to existing functionality.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application and data issues.
- Support the existing VB.NET codebase and contribute to C# modernization efforts.
Required profile
- Proficiency in C# with a willingness to transition from similar object‑oriented languages.
- Understanding of VB.NET or legacy .NET environments.
- Strong experience with SQL Server, including writing and debugging queries.
- Ability to support production systems in a structured enterprise setting.
- Excellent communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
