Sr. Principal BA & Solution Architect

About the role

Invesco is a leading independent global investment firm seeking a senior professional to oversee technology development solutions across new and existing applications, data infrastructure, and system architecture. The role partners with business teams to design and implement solutions that support fund management, order management, compliance, operations, and trading workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee technology development solutions through applications, systems architecture, data warehouses, and infrastructure.
• Review system requirements and business processes, implement solutions using architecture design patterns, and provide maintenance and support.
• Partner with business teams to understand fund management, order management, investment compliance, operations and trading workflows and design collaborative solutions.
• Collaborate with architects, product managers and end‑users in the design, testing and implementation of solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of progressive IT experience.
• 6+ years developing technology solutions in investment management, including experience with Charles River IMS front‑office modules and trading desk workflows across equity, fixed income and derivatives.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• SQL querying.
• Advanced Excel.
• Business Intelligence tools.
• Solution architecture design patterns (layered, microservices, event‑driven).
• Charles River IMS front‑office modules (Manager Workbench, Blotters, Workflow rules, Reports, Imports, Extracts, Privileging, Data Schema, Market Data, Middle Tiers, API, Plugins).
