Desktop Support Technician

About the role

This contract position supports a large financial services client in Pensacola, FL. As a Desktop Support Technician you will ensure smooth desktop operations, handle hardware setups, troubleshoot Windows 11 systems, and assist end users. The role offers hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced IT environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site desktop support for hardware, software, and peripheral equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues on Windows 11 operating systems.
• Assist with basic networking and connectivity problems.
• Configure, deploy, and maintain devices, including printer servers.
• Document incidents and resolutions in ServiceNow.
• Deliver courteous customer service while addressing technical concerns.

Required profile

• Early‑career IT professional with hands‑on hardware and Windows 11 experience.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Preferred: CompTIA Security+ certification or related IT degree.

What we offer

• Pay rate between $18.00 and $24.00 per hour
