Design Coordinator

About the role

Kinetic Design + Development is seeking a Design Coordinator to lead the design and development of corporate architectural projects from concept through completion. The role blends creative vision with technical precision, working closely with project teams and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design and production of corporate architectural projects from schematic design through construction documents.
• Collaborate with Account Managers, Project Managers, and consultants to ensure seamless coordination across disciplines.
• Execute and review full drawing sets, details, and technical documentation for large‑scale projects.
• Prepare and present schematic and design development client presentations.
• Mentor junior production staff and manage BIM models in Revit.

Required profile

• Degree from a NAAB‑accredited architecture or interior design program.
• Typically 6+ years of architectural design and documentation experience.
• Strong communication, organization, and time‑management skills.
• Passion for design excellence, problem‑solving, and collaborative teamwork.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and rendering software.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Lumion.
• Experience managing BIM workflows and coordinating across teams.
• Understanding of building systems, codes, materials, and construction methods.
