About the role

HEI Civil is seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Developer to lead end‑to‑end BI projects. The role reports to the Director of Data and Automation and is based onsite in Colorado.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain critical data systems (e.g., Spectrum, HCSS), manage user access, and monitor ETL pipelines.
• Design, build, and optimize Power BI dashboards and reports, creating efficient data models and explaining logic to stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain automation workflows using Zapier, Power Automate, and Python, handling scheduling, testing, and validation.
• Collaborate with Operations, HR, Finance and other departments to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience developing with Power BI (reports, data models, DAX).
• Strong SQL proficiency and ability to troubleshoot data integrity issues.
• Experience building automation flows with Zapier, Power Automate or Python.
