Department Manager – Retail Sales Leader

About the role

The Department Manager leads a sales section within Zara stores, ensuring the commercial strategy is executed while maintaining an attractive image that resonates with customers. You will inspire and coach the team, oversee product presentation, and drive sales performance through analysis and proactive actions.

Key responsibilities

• Control stock and manage the section to achieve sales targets.
• Review new arrivals, allocate locations, and coordinate store‑warehouse rotations.
• Maintain a consistent brand image across the section, including merchandising, fixtures, mannequins and window displays.
• Conduct product and commercial analysis to identify gaps, competition and trends, and implement actions to improve results.
• Supervise product replenishment and minimize shrinkage.
• Organise and schedule the sales team to maximise commercial potential.
• Provide continuous training, feedback and development opportunities for team members.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and occupational risk regulations.

Required profile
