Dental Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our rapidly growing pediatric dental practice. You will work alongside the dentist to provide high‑quality care for children, toddlers, and teens in a fun, patient‑centric environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during various treatment procedures and ensure proper infection control.
• Take and develop dental radiographs, record patient medical history, and measure vital signs.
• Provide pre‑ and post‑operative oral care instructions and educate patients on oral hygiene.
• Take impressions, prepare study casts, and manage necessary pre‑op/post‑op X‑rays for insurance.
• Enter treatment information into Dentrix Ascend software and work occasional Saturdays.

Required profile

• Completed schooling or prior dental office experience as a Dental Assistant.
• Certification in infection control and X‑ray handling.
• Ability to work Monday‑Friday 8:00 am‑5:00 pm and occasional Saturdays 8:00 am‑2:00 pm.

Required skills

• Taking and developing dental radiographs (X‑rays).
• Using Dentrix Ascend dental software.
• Performing infection control procedures.
