Dental Assistant for Pediatric Practice

About the role

Join a rapidly growing pediatric dental office where every day offers a unique experience. As a Dental Assistant you will support the dentist and ensure smooth patient care in a fun, family‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during various treatment procedures and take dental radiographs.
• Record patient medical history, vital signs, and provide pre/post‑operative oral care instructions.
• Teach patients proper oral hygiene and take impressions for study casts.
• Enter treatment data into Dentrix Ascend software and handle insurance‑related x‑rays.

Required profile

• Prior schooling or office experience as a Dental Assistant.
• Infection Control and Radiation Safety certificates.
• Full‑time availability, including two Saturdays per month.

Required skills

• Taking and developing dental radiographs (X‑rays).
• Using Dentrix Ascend dental software.
• Performing vital sign measurements (blood pressure, pulse).
