Deli Shift Leader

About the role

Pilot Company, a network of travel centers with more than 750 retail and fueling locations across 43 U.S. states and six Canadian provinces, is hiring a Deli Shift Leader at its travel center on Blue Star Highway in Midway, Florida. The role is full time and involves supervising team members in the hot deli area.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise team members in the hot deli area
• Provide excellent guest service
• Assist the Deli Manager in keeping food fresh, the area clean and well stocked
• Maintain equipment according to food safety standards

Required profile

• Experience in a similar position, especially with a restaurant or foodservice background
• Basic knowledge of food safety standards
• Customer service skills and the ability to help maintain a customer-focused culture
• Ability to work as part of a team with hourly team members, customers, vendors and corporate representatives
• Flexibility to work nights, days, weekends and holidays
