Dealer Relationship Manager – Central New Jersey

About the role

The Dealer Relationship Manager (DRM) is the front‑line sales representative for Santander’s auto‑finance business in Central New Jersey. Based in the territory, you will build and nurture partnerships with franchised and independent automotive dealerships, driving loan originations and promoting Santander’s financing solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Establish, develop, and maintain trusted relationships with automotive dealerships across the assigned territory.
• Promote and sell Santander’s auto‑finance programs, OEM partnerships, small‑business and dealer‑commercial products.
• Educate dealers on finance program guidelines, underwriting policies, and digital tools.
• Conduct regular dealer visits, account management tasks, and ensure accurate record‑keeping.
• Collaborate closely with Credit, Funding, Collections, Risk, Pricing, and Legal teams to resolve dealer issues quickly.
• Communicate performance KPIs to dealership owners and management.
• Identify market trends and competitive activities to uncover growth opportunities.

Required profile

• Residency within Central New Jersey to meet territory travel requirements.
• Proven experience in automotive sales, dealer relations, or auto‑finance environments.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Ability to work independently, manage a pipeline, and meet sales targets.
• Collaborative mindset to partner with internal credit and funding teams.
