Data Science Analyst

About the role

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Data Science Analyst to perform detailed analysis of large, heterogeneous datasets that drive patient‑centered insights and improve clinical decision‑making. You will collaborate with clinicians, informaticians, and external partners to develop AI‑enabled solutions that are usable at the point of care.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze complex data sets using AI, machine learning, deep learning, and statistical techniques.
• Develop and deploy predictive models to address business and clinical problems.
• Modify or create scripts and software tools for data extraction, management, and analysis.
• Provide consultative analytics services to internal departments and support scientific projects under senior guidance.
• Interpret results, prepare reports, and present findings in clear, non‑technical language.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as engineering, mathematics, computer science or a related discipline.
• Experience working with large, structured and unstructured health data sets.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with subject‑matter experts and convey insights.
