Data Processing Clerk

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Data Processing Clerk to join our Coating Department in Fairport, NY. In this onsite position you will support production operations by collecting, maintaining, and reporting critical manufacturing data.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and compile production, quality, downtime, and operational data from the shop floor.
• Enter and maintain accurate information in spreadsheets, databases, and internal systems.
• Review source documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Generate routine reports and assist with KPI tracking and trend analysis.
• Walk the production floor to gather information directly from operations teams.
• Support special projects and other data‑related initiatives.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in data entry, administrative support, reporting, or manufacturing documentation.
• High School Diploma or GED (associate degree or higher preferred).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Required skills

• Proficient Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with ERP, MES, SAP, Oracle, or similar production tracking systems.
