Data Entry Specialist

About the role

The Data Entry Specialist provides essential data support to the IE PrEP team, focusing on collection, entry, and analysis of HIV prevention data. This role ensures accurate reporting for Aids Institute funded contracts and contributes to continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Collect service encounters and data from the Improving Equity PrEP team on a recurring basis.
• Enter service encounters into all related electronic platforms.
• Analyze and aggregate data for program reporting.
• Generate weekly and monthly reports from data recording systems.
• Perform regular data audits and coordinate corrections with front‑line staff.
• Record services in the Aids Institute AIRS system per contractual agreements.
• Participate in staff meetings, supervision, and training sessions.
• Handle additional clerical duties such as filing, tracking incentives, managing purchase requests, planning events, and supporting client outreach.

Required profile

• High School Diploma/G.E.D. (required); Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in human services, health information, or medical data entry.
• Strong interpersonal skills and knowledge of HIV, mental illness, substance use, homelessness, and related chronic conditions.
• Computer literacy and ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
