Pulmonologist – Outpatient Clinical Position

About the role

AdvantageCare Physicians is seeking an outpatient pulmonologist to provide high‑quality care for adult patients with respiratory conditions across the New York metropolitan area. The physician will join a growing network of primary and specialty care offices, delivering compassionate, patient‑centered services.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct consultations and diagnose a wide range of respiratory diseases.
• Perform comprehensive diagnostic monitoring, including plethysmography, spirometry, and pulmonary function tests.
• Administer treatments such as oxygen therapy and manage conditions like asthma, COPD, sleep apnea, and pulmonary infections.
• Document medical histories, examination results, and maintain accurate patient records.
• Collaborate with cross‑specialty teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Communicate medical information clearly to patients, families, and the clinical team.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of clinical pulmonology experience.
• Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine.
• Current, unrestricted New York State medical license (or eligibility).
• Active DEA registration and Medicare/NY Medicaid enrollment (or eligibility).
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
