OAR Lead

About the role

The OAR Lead will coordinate the activities of Outpatient Access staff within a busy orthopaedic clinic. Reporting to clinic leadership, this role ensures that front‑office operations run smoothly, efficiently, and with a strong focus on customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and schedule Outpatient Access employees, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
• Provide training and ongoing support for staff on clinic workflows, eRecord systems, and referral coordination.
• Assist with personnel matters such as performance evaluations and improvement plans.
• Serve as the front‑office eRecord super‑user, overseeing workflow design and implementation.
• Handle complex decision‑making related to prior authorizations, referrals, and provider support.

Required profile

• Mid‑level experience (approximately 2 years) in a healthcare front‑office or outpatient setting.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team and improve operational efficiency.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electronic health record (eRecord) systems.
• Experience in workflow design and implementation.
