Data Entry Associate

About the role

The Data Entry Associate supports pharmacy operations by accurately entering medication orders and providing front‑line customer service. Working under direct supervision, the associate follows standard procedures and may help train new team members.

Key responsibilities

• Enter incoming prescription orders with high accuracy.
• Select appropriate billing and shipping methods for patient orders.
• Answer incoming calls, route them to the right staff, and resolve customer service issues.
• Assist members with payment‑related questions and ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain production levels as set by the supervisor.
• Help orient and train new employees.
• Complete all mandatory and regulatory training programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Reliable attendance; ability to work nights and weekends as needed.
• High School Diploma or GED (minimum); pharmacy technician certification preferred.
• Experience in a customer‑service environment.
• Broad knowledge of medications, physician orders, and pharmacy systems.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet production targets.
• Successful completion of pre‑employment and/or random drug screening.
