Data Analytics Senior Associate – Transaction Services

About the role

Riveron is seeking a Data Analytics Senior Associate to provide data‑driven insights for complex private‑equity and corporate transactions. You will analyze large datasets, uncover trends, and deliver actionable recommendations that support due diligence, post‑deal performance, and exit strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop cleansed, organized datasets using Alteryx, Hadoop, SQL for M&A models, EBITDA adjustments, and working‑capital analyses.
• Apply statistical software (SPSS, Minitab) and programming languages (Python, R) to identify risks, opportunities, and trends in transaction data.
• Translate complex findings into clear strategic recommendations for clients and internal teams.
• Leverage analytics platforms such as SAS and Azure throughout the transaction lifecycle to support data‑driven decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, data science, analytics, statistics, economics or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience combining financial due diligence and data analytics, including at least 1 year in quality‑of‑earnings, net working capital, or cash‑flow analysis.
• CPA or audit experience preferred but not required.
• Willingness and ability to travel as required for client engagements.
