Data Analyst – Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital

About the role
The Data Analyst will gather, compile, analyze, interpret and report data for the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital (VMTH). Working with the EMR system, the analyst will partner with senior leadership to assess operational trends, support pricing strategies and identify revenue opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Collect and validate data from the EMR and other operational sources.
- Perform data entry corrections in the EMR related to invoices, payments and allocations.
- Run, compile and deliver monthly reports for the Accounts Receivable team.
- Translate raw data into actionable insights that support decision‑making.
- Compile data into usable reports and troubleshoot data discrepancies.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- At least two years of relevant data analysis experience.
- Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and operational data sources.
- Ability to turn raw data into meaningful insights.
- Strong collaboration skills.

- Starting salary of $58,000 per year, commensurate with education and experience.
