Data Analyst – University Advancement

About the role

The University Advancement division at Prairie View A&M University is seeking a Data Analyst to serve as the primary point of contact for advancement systems, data coordination, reporting, analytics, and gift operations. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Development Operations, the analyst will support data integrity, security, and compliance while enabling strategic planning and donor stewardship.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and manage databases and the CRM system used for advancement activities.
• Gather, compile, analyze, interpret, and report data to identify trends and support operational effectiveness.
• Collaborate with University Advancement, the Prairie View A&M Foundation Finance team, University Finance, IT, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance with university policies.
• Provide day‑to‑day operational leadership for the CRM platform and related tools.

Required profile

• Strong background in systems, data, operations, or analytics.
• Ability to work under general supervision and act as subject‑matter expert for advancement data.
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
