Data Analyst

About the role

RevenueCat is looking for a Data Analyst to partner closely with Marketing, Sales, Finance, People, Ops, and Product teams. You will translate business questions into data solutions, build reliable datasets and dashboards, and help shape the company’s analytics infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Partner regularly with cross‑functional teams to understand goals, metrics, and decision‑making needs.
• Own end‑to‑end analysis: clarify questions, select or build datasets, deliver answers, and ensure decisions are made.
• Document domain knowledge: metric definitions, caveats, filters, and known gotchas.
• Build trusted analytics assets such as dbt models, LookML explores, and robust dashboards.
• Use and improve AI‑driven agent tooling by providing semantic context and flagging incorrect answers.

Required profile

• 3+ years in an analytics role (Data Analyst, BI Analyst, Business Analyst, Analytics Engineer, etc.).
• Strong curiosity: you dig until you understand why numbers look the way they do.
• Comfort working with incomplete requirements and creating structure.
• Focus on usefulness and clarity over polished visuals.

Required skills

• Strong SQL and experience working directly in a data warehouse.
• Version‑controlled analytics workflow (git, branches, PRs).
• Experience with dbt and LookML (or similar modeling tools).
• Familiarity with Snowflake or ClickHouse.
• Python (nice to have).
