Cybersecurity Forensics and Incident Response Analyst

About the role
Bosch Cyber Defense is looking for a skilled Cybersecurity Forensics and Incident Response Analyst to join its Pittsburgh team. You will work on high‑pressure security incidents, investigate emerging threats, and help protect the global Bosch organization.
Key responsibilities
- Perform log analysis, digital forensics, and incident response on security events.
- Develop and maintain security tooling to improve detection and response capabilities.
- Assess risks and recommend mitigation strategies to business and technical stakeholders.
- Participate in a rotating on‑call schedule and respond to critical incidents outside normal business hours.
- Collaborate with geographically distributed teams and communicate findings to global leaders.
- Travel occasionally (1‑2 weeks per year) to Bosch headquarters in Stuttgart, Germany.
Required profile
- Strong technical depth and practical experience in information security.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams and locations.
- Willingness to continuously learn and apply new security techniques.
- Flexibility to work on‑call shifts and handle emergency situations.
