Test Automation Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer to join our team in Pittsburgh on a W2 contract. The role involves designing, building and maintaining automated test frameworks for web and API applications, collaborating with developers and business analysts, and delivering test metrics.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, UFT, Ranorex and Cucumber.
• Create, execute and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, API and performance testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Git and Jira.
• Collaborate with Scrum teams to define test data, environments and acceptance criteria.
• Produce test reports, metrics and documentation, and provide guidance on shift‑left quality practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong understanding of software testing concepts, test lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with object‑oriented programming languages such as Java, C++ or C#.
• Proven ability to work independently on a contract basis and communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
