Cyber Security Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Cyber Security Analyst to join our growing IT security team. This position is ideal for recent graduates or candidates with a few years of IT experience who are eager to protect our digital assets and support a secure environment.

Key responsibilities

• Apply cyber security policies and monitoring to cloud and on‑premise environments.
• Monitor network and system activity for potential threats and vulnerabilities.
• Assist in investigating and resolving security incidents and breaches.
• Perform routine security audits and assessments to identify improvement areas.
• Help implement and maintain security tools such as firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems.
• Document security incidents and produce detailed reports for management.
• Stay current with cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
• Support compliance with company security policies and industry regulations.
• Participate in security awareness training for employees.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts, operating systems, and security principles.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Must reside in the Cleveland metro area and be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Required skills

• Experience with EDR solutions.
• Knowledge of firewalls and SIEM platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud and on‑premise security monitoring.
