Business Systems Analyst – Law Enforcement Unit

About the role

The Law Enforcement Unit Business Systems Analyst supports the implementation of technology solutions across multiple platforms, providing specialized end‑user support for desktop and mobile services. The role also leads improvement initiatives, mentors staff, and acts as a project coordinator when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve complex automation support issues to maintain productivity and business continuity.
• Administer deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and automation equipment.
• Collaborate with Information Security and IT partners to manage risk and ensure compliance.
• Lead or participate in process‑improvement projects and evaluate new technologies.
• Oversee launch of new products, service delivery, and automation systems.
• Develop business cases, system requirements, and use cases for new or enhanced applications.
• Participate in design, integration, testing, and demonstrations throughout the software lifecycle.
• Provide analytical support through data review and reporting, and mentor staff.

Required profile

• Associate degree with 5 years of related experience, or Bachelor’s degree with 3 years, or Master’s degree with 0‑1 year.
• Experience troubleshooting complex hardware and software issues.
• Proven ability to coordinate projects and mentor junior staff.
• Strong communication skills across the organization.
