About the role
Deloitte Cyber is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) Senior Manager to lead delivery of cybersecurity and AI‑enabled solutions. You will bridge client engagement with hands‑on engineering, shaping deals, scaling delivery practices and building long‑term capability.
Key responsibilities
- Translate business and cybersecurity needs into high‑quality technical solutions, including AI/GenAI capabilities, and deploy them for clients.
- Lead pre‑sales activities such as demos, POCs and solution design, providing pricing inputs and effort estimates.
- Own overall customer satisfaction, manage expectations, delivery quality, timelines and cost, and handle escalations.
- Capture delivery learnings to improve products, create reusable enhancements and provide knowledge transfer to client teams.
Required profile
- 8+ years of experience in full‑stack development, cloud delivery and AI solutioning.
- Proven ability to lead technical solutioning in pursuits, define scope, estimate effort and align solutions with business goals.
- Experience working with senior client stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts, risks and trade‑offs.
Required skills
- JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, React, Angular, Next.js.
- Node.js, Python (Django/Flask), Java (Spring Boot).
- PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis.
- REST APIs, microservices, serverless architectures.
- AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Git, Azure DevOps.
- GenAI/LLM platforms: Anthropic, Google (Gemini, Vertex AI), OpenAI (GPT‑4o, Assistants API).
- Experience with AI architecture, scalability, governance and performance considerations.
