About the role

Applied Materials, a global leader in materials science and engineering, is seeking a Customer Support Technician II to perform Tier I procedures, maintenance, and diagnostics on semiconductor equipment in Chandler, AZ.

Key responsibilities

Performs standard Tier I procedures including wafer measurement.
Performs preventative maintenance and wet cleans independently.
Assists senior engineers with corrective maintenance as needed.
Disassembles, cleans and rebuilds kits as part of kit management quality.
Learns and applies diagnostic techniques and uses documentation and test equipment with assistance.
Diagnoses and resolves basic technical problems.

Required profile

Physically demanding role requiring extensive walking, standing, lifting up to 35 lbs., and work in clean rooms with appropriate PPE.
Preferred Associate's Degree.
