About the role

Rescale is seeking a Customer Success Engineer for the Public Sector to act as a trusted technical advisor for named customers, guiding them through deployment, training, and support of cloud HPC solutions.

Key responsibilities

Lead technical activities from deployment to user training and support.
Collaborate with Solutions Architects to plan and execute successful deployments.
Analyze customer infrastructure, operations, and workflows to onboard new workloads and expand Rescale’s footprint.
Present Rescale solutions at conferences, user groups, and webinars.

Required profile

Experience working on complex technical challenges within the defense or public sector.
At least 2 years of software, hardware, or cloud experience in a customer‑facing role.
B.S. in engineering, computer science, math, physics or equivalent; U.S. Person status required.

Required skills

Enterprise cloud, hardware, or software technical experience.
General knowledge of high‑performance computing (HPC) disciplines such as CFD, FEA, molecular dynamics, weather forecasting, computational chemistry, seismic simulation, media rendering, machine learning, or finance.
Familiarity with HPC simulation software (e.g., ANSYS, Siemens, Dassault Systèmes, COMSOL, AVL, Altair, PTC, Cadence, Synopsys, Autodesk, OpenFOAM, LAMMPS, GROMACS, NAMD).
Understanding of HPC schedulers, IaaS, scripting languages, and related deployment tools.
