About the role

As a Cashier at Meijer, you will be the final point of contact for customers, creating welcoming and memorable checkout experiences that leave a lasting impression.

Key responsibilities

  • Become knowledgeable on Meijer programs and promotions to assist customers effectively.
  • Use Meijer systems to complete transactions efficiently and accurately.
  • Handle cash and payments responsibly with attention to detail.
  • Communicate clearly and positively with customers, answering questions and resolving concerns.
  • Support other store tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

Required profile

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Enjoy working with people and providing great service.
  • Comfortable learning and using technology.
  • Dependable, detail‑oriented, and eager to help.
  • Physical ability to lift, bend, twist, and stand for extended periods.
